Dubai and Oman

Dubai – the ‘City of Merchants’, a city of unparalleled grandeur, a city that boasts year round sunshine. A perfect getaway for everyone, shoppers, business people, families and adventure seekers – there is something for everyone. One of the most fantastically developed cities of the world, Dubai offers unlimited leisure activities. The Sultanate of Oman has one of the oldest civilizations in the Arabian Peninsula, dating back thousands of years with notable periods of greatness in the ancient world and in medieval times.
Day 01

Arrive Dubai

You are met by our representative after clearing immigration and collection of baggage, you will reach the arrival lounge where our representative will assist with transfer to the hotel. At the hotel, room keys are handed over and the baggage is sent straight to the room.

Day 02


Morning after breakfast we proceed for a full day city tour. Drive along the skyscraper area of Sheikh Zayed Road, also referred to as “Little Manhattan”, where we pass by the Emirates Towers and the Dubai World Trade Centre.  Then we drive along the Zabeel road, passing by the Palace of Sheikh Mohammad, as well as the Rashid Palace, home to the Royal family of Dubai. Jumeirah mosque it is one of the largest and most beautiful of Dubai’s Mosque. Later we proceed for a short drive along Jumeirah beach visiting the new Dubai.The times have changes since then as Dubai Spice Souk have given way to air-conditioned multistoried shopping malls and items on sale have changed from spices, silks and Ittar (Arabic Perfume) to latest electronic gizmos, gold and designer apparels. Gold is serious business in this part of the world. The gold souk, or gold market, is a truly dazzling sight to behold. It has earned Dubai a reputation for being the ‘City of Gold’.
We cross creek by traditional boats – ABRA to reach the SOUK – which is the Arabic word, which stands for the market or place where any kind of goods are brought or exchanged. Visit the Al Fahidi Fort (Dubai Museum), which houses the Dubai Museum, was built around 1787, and once guarded the landward approaches to the town .Renovated in 1971 for use as a museum, its colourful life size dioramas vividly depict everyday life in the days before the discovery of oil.

Day 03

Dubai – Abu Dhabi – Dubai

After an early breakfast at the hotel you will begin your visit to the capital of the United Arab Emirates and the administrative centre of the country – Abu Dhabi which is also called ‘the Manhattan of the Middle East’. We begin the tour by visiting the Sheikh Zayed Mosque – Largest Mosque in the UAE, founded by Late His Highness Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The Sheikh Zayed Mosque made some world records:
The carpet laid out on the vast expanse is the “World’s Largest Carpet” made by Iran’s Carpet Company and designed by Iranian artist Ali Khaliqi.This mosque also holds the largest chandelier.There are seven imported chandeliers from Germany and are copper and gold-plated. Our next stop is towards Heritage Village. Situated on a 1600 sq. meter site overlooking the Cornice, near the Breakwater in Abu Dhabi, this heritage village is run by Emirates Heritage Club.

Day 04


Breakfast is at the hotel. Morning is at leisure. Afternoon, meet your driver who is also your guide at the hotel lobby and then head out to the desert of a Desert Safari Extravaganza!! Proceed to the high dunes to do ‘dune bashing’. For the adventurous the driver takes you on a roller coaster ride dune after dune before giving you a short break at a camel farm to see the ‘ship of the desert’.Drive to a Bedouin camp after sunset, where you are welcomed in traditional Arabic style with dates and Arabic coffee. Return to the hotel by 4×4 vehicles after an evening that will definitely be a memorable one! Return to your hotel for the night

Day 05

Dubai – Muscat

Morning at Leisure
This morning you will be transferred to the International Airport to board your flight back to Muscat.

Arrive at Muscat International Airport.

You will be met before immigration with a placard and escorted to the plaza lounge where you enjoy Omani hospitality.  Hot or cold refreshments are offered while the lounge executive completes the immigration formalities.  You are then escorted to the baggage hall and assisted with their baggage and custom formalities.Transfer from Muscat International Airport to the hotel Enjoy lunch at Al Khiran Terrace Restaurant. Transfer from Al Bustan Palace Hotel to the Marina to embark on a relaxed dhow (fishermen’s boat) cruise. Return to the hotel and overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 06


Enjoy breakfast at the Hotel. Muscat offers the visitor a unique opportunity to witness a modern commercial centre existing in harmony with its traditional culture. Visit the Grand Mosque. We proceed to Bait Al Zubair Museum is a brief introduction that traces Oman’s history and development. Drive along the waterfront Corniche visiting the bustling Muttrah Souq. We proceed for a photo stop to the magnificent Al Alam Palace.

Day 07

Muscat – Al Hamra

Drive through the date palms to the sparkling springs and Fort at Nakhl.  Turn towards Wadi Bani Auf. Visit the charming mountain village of Bilad Sayt where one is awestruck by the beauty of the landscape. Overnight at the hotel

Day 08

Al Hamra

After breakfast, we proceed to visit Jabrin, the finest of Oman’s Castles built in the late 17th century, which became a seat of Omani learning.Visit Misfah a pretty mountain village with stone dwellings still in existence. Drive to Wadi Nakher. Overnight stay at the hotel

Day 09

Al Hamra – Wahiba

Today we drive to the famous Round Tower Fort. After Lunch, we further drive towards the dunes. The ever-changing patterns of the dunes are a photographer’s delight.Check in at the Desert Nights camp.We proceed for a sunset camel safari for 1 ½ hours including soft drinks and light snacks.Return to the Camp for Dinner.Overnight stay at Desert Nights camp

Day 10

Wahiba – Ras Al Jinz

Pickup from Desert Nights camp and proceed to visit Bedouins in the wilderness. Enjoy the dune bashing experience before we head towards Wadi Bani Khalid. Visit the Sanseela Fort before we head towards Ras al Jinz. Check in at the Ras al Jinz Scientific and visitor centre. Join a guardian who will accompany you and others on to the beach after an introduction to the sanctuary.

Day 11

Tas Al Jinz – Sur – Muscat

Pickup from Ras Al Jinz and proceed to Muscat. The ruins of Bibi Miriam’s Tomb can be seen at the village of Qalhat on coastal road to Muscat. Enjoy the visit of Wadi Shaab before you proceed to Fins Beach. Stop at Fins beach for a swim.  Exclusive Lunch set up at Fins beach in a Tent with Low table (Majlis) set up. Our next stop is the Bimah Sinkhole, a spectacular limestone crater with blue green water at the bottom. Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 12                                                         


Breakfast. Drop off at Muscat International Airport for your international flight. After clearing the immigration /Customs formalities, relax at the Plaza Premium Lounge until you board the flight.
